Metrobus schedules and service will change on some routes in the District and Maryland starting Sunday.
Riders will see some slight adjustments to timetables and some route changes because of construction activity.
The changes are part of Metro’s Better Bus initiative, a $5 million investment to improve on-time performance and reliability in some of the region’s busiest corridors.
Fort Totten-Petworth line. Riders of the No. 60 will have to wait a little longer between buses. Between 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. buses will run every 45 minutes.
U Street-Garfield line. The Route 92, which serves U Street, will end its northbound trips at 14th Street and U Street NW. Southbound trips will begin at 13th and U Street NW.
Anacostia lines. The W2, W3, W6 and W8 routes will bypass the Skyland Shopping Center where there is ongoing redevelopment of the property.
