Where Is Dennis Earl Bradford Today?

For a crime he committed in 1990, Dennis Earl Bradford was taken into custody in 2009. After being recognized by DNA evidence, he was caught in Arkansas and given a 12-year prison term.

However, he committed suicide in his one-man cell before serving out the remainder of his sentence. He was located, and a deputy and a nurse attempted to revive him. They even brought him to the University of Texas Medical Branch’s emergency room, where he was eventually pronounced dead.

Investigators claim that he hanged himself after making a rope out of a bedcover. He sobbed and stated he had prayed for that when investigators informed him that his victim was still alive. On CBC News, a video of the interrogation was posted.

The apartment where Schuett was abducted in 1990 was close to where Bradford lived. Bradford was married with two children and three adult stepchildren when he was imprisoned for his crime.

Jennifer Schuett Assault & Attack Case Details

When Jennifer Schuett was attacked, abducted, and mistreated, she was eight years old. Early in the morning in August 1990, the kidnapper took her from her bedroom in her ground-floor Texas apartment.

She was sexually assaulted, had her neck sliced from ear to ear, and was then left to die in a heavily wooded field. Due to vocal chord damage, she was unable to scream or even speak.

After being attacked, she lay in a field for 12 hours before being discovered by some kids, who found her when she was almost dead. She informed the police that her attacker had claimed to be Dennis in notes she was sending to them from her hospital bed a few days later.

She even worked with a sketch artist who created a face of the offender that was strikingly similar to Bradford’s previous driver’s license image. For 19 years, the matter was investigated, and Schuett persisted in his efforts.

And when cutting-edge DNA analysis enabled the police to find the attacker, long-awaited justice at last arrived on her door. Many survivors now are inspired to fight back by her narrative.
